Waterland bicycle tour

We have made a wonderful route in the spectacular Waterland area in the northern of Amsterdam for you. Within five minutes you will be outside the city Amsterdam and you will cycle through the marvellous landscape.

An experienced guide will lead you on a relaxed way across the wonderful situated bicycle routes to the heart of this country of dikes and water. You will bicycle not only on the dikes, but also on recovered land on 5 metres under sea level and through the authentic villages.

The guide will tell you among others how our grandparents have led a constant battle against the water. Even nowadays it is still literally pump or drown in this area.

In the picturesque village Broek in Waterland you will make a stop to relieve from load over a drink and something to eat. Thereupon you will continue your bicycle tour on your way back to Amsterdam.
